Jean LaFleur...
Jean is a graduate of the Sports Injury
Management program from Sheridan College in Oakville, following his Honors
degree in
Applied Kinesiology from the University of
Windsor. Jean has also been an endurance athlete for most of his life.
He has spent years educating himself in many disciplines.
As a
therapist , Jean uses a wide variety of techniques which
include:
muscle energy techniques, somatotherapy, myofascial stretching,
advanced strain - counterstrain techniques,
spinal decompression home exercises, myofascial release techniques, osteopathic techniques,
visceral
manipulation techniques, cranial-sacral techniques, advanced muscle testing and applied kinesiology
techniques.
In
addition Jean also specializes in postural evaluation and correction, core
muscle re-activation and re-balancing.
Jean also prides himself on using a very
functional and integrated approach in his rehabilitation and training
programs with his clients.
Jean
is also A level one P.I.C.P. Poliquin Strength and Conditioning Coach.
He prides himself in learning from the best experts in his chosen field of
study.
He has adopted some of his strength and conditioning protocols from
such renowned experts as Charles Poliquin
Juan Carlos Santana, Paul Chek, Twist Condtioning,
Gray Cook, Alwyn Cosgrove, and many more.
Clients will be assured that
their programs will meet their physiological, psychological and emotional
limits,
in order to deliver the best results possible.
In addition, Jean likes to practice balance in his own life with music, playing
guitar, singing, and learning new songs.
